Chesterhill Old Farm Terms and Conditions
1. A 40% deposit (non refundable) is required to secure your booking.
2. The balance will be invoiced and is required not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
3. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, Chesterhill is available for hire from 3.00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure, unless prior arrangement has been agreed with property owner.
4. Chesterhill Old Farm Holiday cottage will be clean and tidy upon your arrival please leave it in the same condition on departure. If time has to be spent on additional cleaning due to the poor state of the property a charge will be levied.
5. The holidaymaker must report as soon as possible to the property owner any breakages or damage caused to fixtures and fittings etc and to reimburse the property owner with the cost of replacement. A damage bond of £100 is included in the invoice and will be refunded on departure.
6. Chesterhill Old Farm Holiday let accommodates up to 4 guests only and this must not be exceeded at anytime. The property will be used solely for the purpose of a holiday by the holidaymaker and his/her party. Due consideration for other parties should be taken, this is too include refraining from abuses of the property and/or dangerous, offensive or rude behaviour to the property owner.
7. The holiday maker must allow the property owner access to the property at any reasonable time during the time of the holiday.
8. One well behaved house trained pet is permitted at Chesterhill Old Farm. Consideration by the owner must be taken as we do have dogs, a number of ducks and chickens on the farm, please supervise your animal at all times. Please keep dogs/cats on a lead at all times.
9. The holiday maker is liable for all damage caused by his/her pet. The holidaymaker should remove all traces (inside & outside) from the property of pet occupation before final departure. The property owner reserves the right to levy an additional charge for any extra cleaning required. Animals are not allowed on beds or furniture and the pet must not be left alone in the property.
10. Chesterhill Old Farm holiday let is strictly No Smoking. It is permissible to smoke outside the building.
11. Any reservation made is constituted as a legal contract. If a booking is cancelled due to ill health of a guest in your party or a death of a close relative, the deposit is non refundable and you will be obliged to pay the remaining balance unless we are able to re-let the property. No refunds will be given on the cancellation of a Booking by the Holiday maker.
12.We strongly recommend you take holiday cover insurance to cover all eventualities ie cancellation of a holiday.
13. Chesterhill Old Farm, its employees or agents are not responsible for the loss of any valuables or property left on or around the premised at any time. All guests (friends,families and/or visitors) must take steps to ensure that they protect their own safety and that of others whilst staying at the property. Chesterhill Old farm will not accept responsibilty for any injury or loss caused whilst in or around the property. Please ask if you require a copy of our Fire Risk Assessment and Access Statement.
